A cambered roof frame ensures rapid dispersion of water. All windows and doors are fitted with waterproof sealing putty. Waterproofing Denzo tape is used as a membrane, which is then stapled, siliconed and fasten with a J Mould, resealed to secure waterproofing from the front of the roofline to the rear of the caravan. Seams and hatches are sealed with high quality silicone, for complete water protection.

Wall cladding panels are low profile ten-inch smooth aluminium. No screws or caps are visible.

All of our Compass caravans are fitted with the finest quality materials inside and out, and are packed with an array of practical and luxurious features as standard, including a 3-way Dometic refrigerator, quality 4-burner stove, rubber-backed pleated draw curtains, full-width high-density foam seat cushions, post form rolled edges on all benches and tables for our custom build Aurora range and contemporary European furniture for the Nautilus, Navigator Sextant and Evolution.

Each Compass model is unique with drawers under single beds and drop down doors or drawers in the dinette, which you’ll find convenient. No need to move cushions to gain access to your stored items.

The single beds in Compass vans are 6 feet 2 inches long with innerspring mattress- that’s two inches longer than most. Double beds also have innerspring mattress for comfort and durability.

Curtains are rubber backed with Velcro tie backs and run on roller tracks. All curtains are made from blockout fabrics that come in a selection of distinctive modern colours.

With all luxury European styled and larger entry level Compass caravan model, (Evolution, Navigator Sextant, Nautilus, and Compass GTS) roof mounted air-conditioning is standard with external awnnings. For our custom build range air conditioning is optional, on the (Aurora, and Compass Compact) a full height laminex splash-back gives ultimate protection and makes for fuss-free cleaning, for our luxury European Models (Evolution and Navigator Sextant). Six inch splash-backs are featured in the standard entry level and custom build models (Aurora, Nautilus, Compass GTS and Compass Compact)

Also a standard feature is the four-season hatch, or if you’re looking for luxury, the European hatch may be more your style.

A variety of four-burner stoves are available, with the option of oven and separate griller. You can choose from gas or a combination of gas and electric burners, just in case! The fold-down lid on all stoves provides extra bench space.

Our kitchens are all designed for ease of cleaning, including the hard-wearing vinyl throughout the kitchen area, and post-form-edge laminex bench-tops.

Floor coverings include a choice of vinyl and / or colour co-ordinated cut-pile carpet - There is no bare plywood throughout all Compass vans.

Bathroom and shower options range from the luxurious en-suite with separate toilet, to the more compact combined toilet and shower unit, to suit your preference. Another Compass feature is the range of entertainment systems including DVD, MP3, and Radio, with co-axial cable Television plugs, and Flatscreen Television. Combined with an optional wind-up aerial, this ensures the best available reception wherever you travel.

Our aim at Compass is simply to provide you with quality workmanship and materials. So your Compass caravan remains reliable, long lasting and easy to maintain.

Another important safety feature is Compass longer A-frame, designed for safer cornering. Reinforced and gusseted for added strength, the entire A frame is then triple coated and finished, with a heavy duty boxed steel Supergal chassis. The A frame Supergal extends to the door step for front door models and to the axle on rear door models.

For extra security, two safety chains are fitted, with a provision of a lockable coupling.

To eliminate sideways rocking when stationary, Compass caravans use a centre-mounted jockey wheel. All Compass models are strong and built with seasoned dried kiln seasoned Meranti hardwood timber.The sides, ends and roof of the vans are glued and securely bolted together to ensure a robust body. In addition the option of an aluminium structural wall and roof frame is available for an additional charge.

All Compass vans, floors are made from half inch laminated ply, glued then screwed to the chassis for protection and strength. With Compass vans cornered mounted quick release drop down stablisers are standard for ease and convenience on the Evolution, Navigator Sextant, Nautilus and Aurora. On our entry level vans the Compass GTS and Compass Compact have corner mounted wind down stablisers. Another essential safety feature on Compass vans are the electric brakes. These are obedient and responsive in any braking situation, giving the driver greater control.

All Compass vans are equipped with an over pressure relief value as standard on gas cylinders, smoke detectors, residual current device to detect earth leakage, temperature limiting values on Luxury Ensuite models, fire safety kit consisting of 1kg fire extinguisher and security fire blanket and Water Purifying filter, to give you a greater peace of mind.

Plus all models include insulation, a front stoneguard (over window is standard), awnings, grab handles front and rear and a handy annexe light.

Doors are full height on all vans – so no need for stooping when entering or exiting. Above the door an exterior annex light is supplied for security and safety at night. The top of the door is padded to protect extra tall users as they leave the van. All doors are fitted with a flush-mounted security lock.

Inside Compass caravans you’ll find the quality continues with more state of the art features. All cabinet making is done on site, with each set of cupboards individually built to a high standard by skilled tradesmen.

Natural timber frames are used on all cupboards and doors. Push-button catches are fitted for extra convenience and safety, on our European furniture models;Evolution, Navigator Sextant and Nautilus and traditional cabinet design on our custom build range, the Aurora, GTS and Compass Compact.

Wardrobes are full width so that garments fit easily, and custom-built features include a full-length wardrobe for long dresses and the like.

When it comes to power, all vans can run on either 240volts or 12volts using an optional battery pack. Now that’s what we call convenience.

All Compass vans are subjected to stringent quality control checks throughout manufacture, and before leaving the factory. Compass commitment to quality is second to none.

The new contemporary styling of a Compass puts it firmly in the new millennium. Our design team leads the way by incorporating the latest trends in kitchen design, materials and manufacturing processes. This informs all aspects of production.

Colour co-coordinated and attractive badging is standard on all models, as are sporty wheel-trims, with the option of off-road wheels.

For the comforts of home, all pantries are fully lined, with pull out drawers and shelves as a secure storage option.

All top lockers are double lined for durability, and the cupboard floors are flush-fitted for ease of cleaning. The top lockers are full size to take the largest dinner plates.
