The Compass Aurora comes standard with an extensive range of safety features consisting of over pressure relief value on gas cylinders, smoke detectors, electric brakes to all wheels, residual current device (earth leakage detector, temperature limiting valve on luxury Ensuite models, fire safety kit with 1kg fire extinguisher & security fire blanket and water purifying filter
As we all want to explore the great Australian outback there are times when you want more from your caravan. At Compass the Aurora model allows you to select from an extensive range of layouts either from the pop top or caravan range starting from a 13’x7”-1 low profile or high profile pop top.
Alternatively if the pop top is not to your liking a range of caravans from 13’6” x 7 -1 may be more of your choice to accommodate you right through to the large 29’6” x 8’0-2 tri axle with the ability to get off the bitumen roads and explore this great Australian landscape.
No doubt the inhospitable Australian landscape makes the Compass Aurora Outback range a growing phenomena, and is growing in popularity year after year. With the Aurora range the heavy duty boxed steel Supergal chassis provides the van with a robust chassis, which the “A” frame is extended to the door step for the front door version, and to the axle on rear door layouts as a standard feature.
Electric brakes are standard to all wheels with breakaway switch and 12 volt lead acid battery to all Ensuite vans 17’6” and over and all standard vans 19’0” and over.
In the Aurora range wind down corner stabilizing legs are standard -However quick release drop down can be installed as an option to minimize rocking when stationery. The Aurora has a choice of single beam axle or tandem axle leaf spring depending on the model layout or the simplicity independent suspension as an option.
The chassis height can either be partly raised by two inches or six inches with the option of a six inch “A” frame extension past the suspension. Alternatively you can select the Outback Chassis which consists of 15” inch or 16” inch off road wheels.
The furniture is based on the traditional style that allows us to greatly modify your living area to suit your lifestyle. A choice of interior décor and colour scheme which best suit your particular preference, including a range of laminated surfaces, windows, window curtains and seating fabrics.
